Ingredients
PRIME BASE CONC. - 1000 gm
REFINED WHEAT FLOUR - 3000 gm
SUGAR - 3750 gm
FRESH EGGS - 3500 gm
WATER - 1000 gm
OIL - 2500 gm
Method
Using a planetary mixer, mix all the ingredients except oil on slow speed for 1 minute. Scrape the batter and mix again on medium speed for 3 minutes to 4 minutes. Add oil and mix on slow speed for 1 minute. Pour the batter into the bar mould. Place the mould in the pre-heated oven and bake at 180°C for approximately 27 minutes to 30 minutes or until baked. Remove the pound cake from the oven and allow it to cool before packing or serving.
