How to make Cannelés De Bordeaux

BAKE TIME : 65 mins
PREP TIME : 65 - 70 mins

Ingredients

Delicious Vanilla Sponge Mix – 340 gm
Egg Yolk – 6 nos
Milk – 1000 gm
Butter – 1000 gm

Method

  • Weigh all the mentioned ingredients separately and precisely.
  • Heat milk and butter in a saucepan till it gets slightly warm.
  • Add the warm mixture to the SwissBake® Delicious Vanilla Sponge Mix and egg yolks.
  • Mix it properly with the help of whisk and strain it.
  • Apply some butter to canelé moulds
  • Pour the mixture and bake it at 230°C for 45mins under a falling temperature of 190°C after 20mins.
  • Once baked turn the moulds upside down on wire rack and then serve it
